Tutoring FAQ

  • What separates Fit for Lyfe from other tutoring services?

    We operate with excellence. We do not cut corners with our students. Each student gets the individualized attention they need to master the material. We are patient, respectful, and flexible with our students and parents. We want to see each student overcome the academic obstacles they thought impossible. Our relationships do not start and end with the students we tutor. We make it a point to be cognizant of what our parents are experiencing and keep an open line of communication to ensure the student’s village is watered and thriving!

  • What methods of payment are available?

    Zelle is the preferred payment method. 

    Alternatively, we can send you an invoice that will allow you to pay using your chosen method. However, there is a $2.00 processing fee added to each invoice. 

  • Do I pay the tutors after the session?

    No. Payments are made directly to Fit for Lyfe. Our tutors are instructed to refuse any payment attempts from our parents.

  • What if I Want to Continue Tutoring After Summer Sessions for the next School Year and Vise Versa?

    We strongly encourage our parents to take advantage of every available tutoring season. To continue tutoring services to the next season, please inform us of your desire to continue and we will inform you of the next steps.

  • Will my child be posted on Social Media?

    We care about the confidentiality of you and your child. We do not post any identifiable information without your express, written consent.

  • How do I report issues during the tutoring sessions??

    While issues are rare, they are unavoidable in some instances. Any issues should be addressed directly to Fit for Lyfe and not our tutors. We will contact our tutors with the necessary information.

  • What Happens if I Can’t Make it to the Scheduled Session?

    If you are unable to attend a scheduled tutoring session, please let FFL know as soon as possible before the scheduled session. To avoid any rescheduling and cancellation fees, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.

  • What Happens if I Need to Be Reassigned to Another Tutor?

    If you need to be reassigned to another tutor, please let FFL know in writing. Reassignment depends on the current availability of our tutors that meet the needs of your student.
